Nibong Cafe & Restaurant began with a humble dream — a small neighborhood eatery serving simple, honest meals to the community. What started as a modest low-range and mid-range restaurant has, over the years, grown through passion, dedication, and the belief that good food brings people together.

Today, we continue that same spirit but with a renewed commitment to excellence. At Nibong Cafe & Restaurant, we elevate Malay cuisine with hotel-grade standards, bringing the warmth of traditional flavors together with the precision of hotel-chef techniques and kitchen SOPs. With over 30 years of experience in the culinary and hospitality field, he has served at Semarak Langkawi Beach Resort, Beach Garden Resort, Berjaya Langkawi Beach Resort, Radix Pizza, Deco Café, and worked as a Consultant Chef (2018). He is currently serving at Nibong Café and Restaurant (2024).

Shazmil Yang Budiman

A dedicated Food & Beverage professional with 9 years of experience in McDonald’s, Starbucks, and various specialty cafés, specialising in customer service, beverage preparation, manual brewing, and latte art. He began his career at McDonald’s, where he built a strong foundation in high-volume service and beverage quality, before advancing his barista skills at Starbucks and independent cafés. He has participated in industry programs and competitions such as the McDonald’s Barista Championship, McDonald’s Drive Thru Elite, Starbucks Pour Your Heart, the Penang Latte Art Throwdown, and the ASEAN Coffee Community, demonstrating passion for coffee culture, consistency, and service excellence.
